Nitrogen-rich compound metal tetrapyridinoporphyrazine (MTAP) and tetrapyrazinoporphyrazine (MPTpz) were used as precursors to synthesize N doped CNTs and graphene by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). Influence of process parameters, such as reaction temperature, cooling rate, catalyst content and bi-metal coordination effect, on the morphology of the products has been studied, and the structure of the products has also been analyzed. Rotating disk electrode (RDE) techniques and cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurement were performed to verify the potential applications of the obtained products for oxygen reduction.
