The efficiency of organic solar cells is strongly limited to the conductivity of charge carriers within the organic layer on their way to the outer electrodes. Therefore carbon nanotube were chosen to enhance this conductivity due to the ballistic charge carrier transport along the carbon nanotube sidewall. The design based on vertacally aligned carbon nanotube forest which is liquid-phase infiltrated with the absorber material.
