Under the motto "Intelligent Noses", an international workshop organized at the TU Dresden is on the trail of artificial smelling until September 18, 2020.

The cooperative research project Olfactorial Perceptronics funded by the Volkswagen Foundation aims at establishing an interdisciplinary and innovative combination between electronic sensors and human perception with a special focus on olfaction. The perceptronics workshop brings together leading experts to discuss the challenges, implications and perspectives of this ambitious effort.
