At this special day of the year, people of all ages get a glimpse into the extra ordinary scientific landscape of Dresden.We offered interactive presentations and experiments related to nanotechnology titled "Die fabelhafte Welt des Kleinen: Ein Blick in die Nanotechnologie" at Hallwachsstraße. Our visitors enjoyed our programme, which included assembling molecules in reality and at the computer, making their own "molecule button", a live experiment showing the photocatalytic decomposition of methylene blue and interesting experiments involving magnetism and surface functionalization on the nanoscale.

Additionally, visitors in the Max-Bergmann-Center were welcome to discover our labs in "Die Nanowelt ertasten". Besides getting to know our Scanning Tunneling Microscope with a live demonstration, gazing at our Nanogallery presenting the bizarre and beautiful world at the nanoscale or getting in touch with our work space and daily life through our home-made movie clip, the visitors got also their hands on our micro-droplet setup.
