During the past weeks, our chair received several new scientific instruments supported by the EFRE-programme.In an opening meeting at the Max Bergmann Center of Biomaterials, the new equipment was presented and the focus of the projected research was outlined. We thank the Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (SMWK) and the Dresden University of Technology for making this acquisition possible, all our guests for coming and showing interest in our research and are grateful to the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden, Heidelberg Instruments, JEOL and Nabertherm for supporting the event.
