former Dresden senior fellow
Stay period: | Aug. 1, 2019 - Oct. 31, 2019 |
Visiting Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti Chair of Materials Science and NanotechnologyFaculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering
Prof. Yuri A. Berlin is an expert of world renown in the field of charge transport and transfer in complex systems with a strong focus on the properties of biomolecular systems. Since 2005, he has been Research Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Northwestern University.
The visiting scientist’s stay served to continue existing collaborations and to further networking with scientists from the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed) and the Dresden Center for Computational Materials Science (DCMS) at TU Dresden. Prof. Berlin also gave lectures on his research area “charge transport and transfer in complex systems with a strong focus on the properties of biomolecular systems”.
