Ricardo Vera-Nieto studied Physics at the Yachay Tech University in Ecuador from 2016 to 2022. He got his Bachelor degree with the "Calculation of the differential conductance of a normal/superconductor junction in decorated Graphene" with Dr. Mayra Peralta and Dr. David Verrilli.
He got a position as Research assistant of Dr. Alexander Lopez at ESPOL (Ecuador) in 2022 where he did a computational model for CISS effect in double stranded DNA molecule.
In 2023 he started his Master of Science in Physics at the Technische Universität Dresden where he joined the Chair for Materials Science and Nanotechnolgy as a (Transcampus/student assistant) in Dresden with plans to work on quantum transport and CISS effect in different types of molecules.
