former Exchange Master student
Stay period: | June 16, 2023 - July 14, 2023 |
Group: | computational materials science and theoretical nanophysics |
Miguel Mena studied Physics at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Quito, Ecuador) from 2018 to 2022. He is currently doing his Master’s degree in Physics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at the same university.
His research interests include analytical modeling of complex physical systems, in particular chiral molecular systems, to study the electron and spin transport associated with the Chiral-Induced Spin Selectivity effect (CISS effect).
During his stay as student guest Miguel Mena will be working on Spintronic effects of Punctual Chirality and Spin-Phonon Coupling perturbation in a Double-Stranded Model of DNA.
