Juyeon Yi was a postdoc in our group in Regensburg in the early 2000s.
Juyeon Yi is now a physics professor at Pusan National University. Her achievements include research in a charge-ladder model is proposed to explain the semiconducting-like properties of DNA molecules; research in a novel scenario is proposed for DNA bundling mechanism via polyion agents; research in a competing feature of Peierls instability and Aharonov-Bohm effect is discovered in a mesoscopic ring.
