Huang-Hsiang Lin studied Electronics and Physics at National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) from 2008 to 2014. He got his master degree on the "Analysis of two-phonon infrared spectral features of gallium arsenide and indium phosphide by ab initio calculations" with Prof. Shun-Tung Yen. After defending his master thesis, he went back to National Chiao Tung University in the group of Prof. Shun-Tung Yen. There, he primarily worked on development of efficient quantum transport simulator. In May 2017, he joined the group of Prof. Gianaurelio Cuniberti as IMPRS Ph.D student, he plans to work on DFT and NEGF quantum transport simulation in many-body system.
